Can I ask for the job if I want it?

Posted on September 28, 2008. Filed under: Career News, Employment, Interviewing, Job Searching, Résumés, after job interview, job interview, job satisfaction, job search issues for Women, self-improvement | Tags: , |

Absolutely! Most people who go on a job interview never tell the interviewer whether they want the job or not. This leaves the interviewer guessing if you want the job. Look at the interviewer in the eye and tell him or her that you want the job.

When he/she asks what kind of wage you expect, ask what the standard wage is for your qualifications.  Your goad should be for [...]
