Interview Check List #20: Did I show any hostility or anger toward my current/former employer?

A big no-no!  This tips the employer off that there were problems.  You’re likely to be dropped like a hot potato.

If you expressed negative feelings toward a former employer, promise yourself that no matter what the circumstances were that surrounded your leaving that company, next time you must leave your feelings about it a home. Do NOT bring them to the interview.

Employers can’t easily judge who was right and who was wrong.  But they can and they do decide it’s safer not to take any chances.  Leave the emotional baggage left over from previous jobs at home.
