Happiness in the workplace, at home or in relationships is often the result of effective communication techniques. The best communicators are those who know themselves, recognize the demands of the situation, appreciate the different communication styles of the others and adapt strategies to meet those needs.

When employees communicate well, they are in sync and teamwork occurs with less stress.

People negotiate better, speak more convincingly and listen effectively. There is an atmosphere of trust, cooperation and mutual respect.

Most people do want to communicate and work more harmoniously with others and there is a way to learn how. Effective communications can be the solution for workplace satisfaction.

My experience has taught me that the DISC – based behavior and communication profiles and reports can be the best method of understanding yourself and becoming more aware of others’ styles. So even if you are not in an active job search, it is worth your time and investment to talk with a Behavioral Consultant who specialized in the career industry who can help you successfully adapt to your current situation until the timing is right to make your career change.

The Communication / Behavioral profiles and coaching are available with JaneCo’s Sensible Solutions. Visit www.janecos.com for more information and/or contact Jane Roqueplot at janeir@janecos.com
